About Me
Describe Yourself:
I am 48 YO, male, gay Chicagoan of over 20 years. I have a bachelor's degree in Theatre and just graduated with a master's degree in educational leadership. I have worked college students in the field of student financial aid for 20 years and am looking to evolve into more interesting and meaningful roles in higher ed which are more directly related to the education of students. I am currently a doctoral student in Instructional Leadership at Argosy University-Chicago.
I have a life partner, John, with whom I've been with for the last 12 years and have been married to(in spirit, not legal yet in Illinois) for 6 years.
I have devoted much of my life to personal development with a strong desire to fulfill my potential and purpose so that I can make a difference.
Most recently, I have embarked on an intentional journey to get to know and reclaim what's important and meaningful to me spiritually. Specifically, I am exploring and embracing the Christian faith (going back to where I began) to find out the true Christian that I am.
I am nuts about movies and plays, include music in everything possible, and love reading and writing poetry. I'm also a closet environmentalist.
